Cookie Policy

Plain storage.

Nightshift shows no cookie banner because there is nothing to ambush you with: no advertising trackers, no cross-site cookies, no analytics provider watching you across the web. Fonts are served from our own domain. This page lists everything we keep in your browser.

Supabase auth cookies (sb-*)

Strictly necessary · Cookies

Keep you signed in and refresh the session.

Kept: Session duration; cleared on sign-out.

ns-consent

Strictly necessary · localStorage

Remembers your cookie choice from the preferences modal.

Kept: Until you clear site data.

pp-last-email-send

Functional · localStorage

Reminds you on the sign-in page that a magic link is still valid. Stores a timestamp only — never your address.

Kept: Overwritten on each send; until you clear site data.

pp-visitor

Analytics (optional) · localStorage

Random anonymous ID so play, listen, view, and share counts can tell repeat visits apart. Turn off anonymous measurement in preferences to stop this and delete the ID.

Kept: Until you clear site data or opt out.

ns-view:*

Analytics (optional) · sessionStorage

Remembers you already counted this visit so one browsing session counts once per producer.

Kept: When the tab closes.

What reaches our servers

Anonymous counts for plays, qualified listens, profile views, shares, and contact clicks. Visitor IDs are stored hashed, referrers are stripped to origin and path, campaign fields are capped, and we store no IP addresses alongside events. Producers see totals only — never who did what.

Your control

Every footer on Nightshift has a Cookie preferences control that re-opens your choices any time — turning off anonymous measurement stops all event logging on that device immediately and deletes its visitor ID. Your browser's clear-site-data option removes everything above at once.
